Pinewalk Penguins swim team

Each Spring the kids of the Pinewalk Penguins swim team anxiously await the day the pool opens and practice begins! For the kids that participate, swim season is the best time of the year. They are part of a team of kids from our community and surrounding neighborhoods in a 5-mile radius, both boys and girls ages 4 - 18. They practice after school early May until school is out and summer mornings through June with swim meets every Thursday evening in June. They learn valuable life lessons, sportsmanship, being fit, and how to achieve a goal. They do all this and more while having a ton of fun!

We need the support of the community to provide this great experience for our kids. We are a non-profit organization run by parent volunteers. We love our penguins and work hard to provide a top-notch experience. We keep our registration fees low to include as many families as possible and never turn kids away. Community sponsors help us pay for long term equipment and supplies beyond coaching, allowing us to expose more kids to the joy of swimming.
